Obituary of James Austin Morgan

Funeral services for Mr. James Austin Morgan, age 84, of Columbia, LA are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday April 26, 2006 at Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Danny McVay and Rev. Charles McLean officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Morgan was a retiree of International Paper Company and Richardson Medical Center. He was a WWII veteran having served in the U.S. Navy combat battalion (See Bee). He passed away Monday April 24, 2006 at Richardson Medical Center in Rayville.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife, Christine Morgan; two sons, Jack Morgan of Swartz, LA, John Morgan and wife Margaret of Irvine, CA; step daughter, Robyn Kellebrew and husband Jeff of West Monroe, LA; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Chunn, Mark Morgan, Jeffery Morgan, Meredith Morgan, John David Morgan, Ashley Kellebrew, Cade Kellebrew; three great grandchildren, Brook Shoop, Emily Morgan, Kane Chunn and many loving nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Morgan; three sisters, Margaret White, Harriett McLean and Johnnie Mae Gregory.
Serving as pallbearers are: Dale Church, Emma Garsee, Jeff Kellebrew, John White, John Thomas White and Charles Parker.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at Golden Funeral Home.
