Obituary of Monroe W. "Hop" Bonner

Funeral services for Mr. Monroe W. "Hop" Bonner are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Beulah Baptist Church with Bros. Dale Bonner and Kenny Herring officiating. Interment will follow in Beulah Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Bonner, a retired farmer and member of Holly Ridge Baptist Church passed away Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Oak Woods Home for the Elderly.
He is survived by his daughter, Myrna Gay Ronaghan and husband Kenneth of Monroe, LA; two sons, James L. Bonner and wife Gloria of Oak Grove, LA, Hiram Dale Bonner and wife Penny of Beebe, AR; sister, Doris Boutwell of Oak Grove, LA; six grandchildren, Shane Bonner and wife Sherrie, Bryan Bonner, Phillip Ronaghan, Paula Ronaghan, Joshua Bonner, Aaron Bonner; three great grandchildren, Faith Bonner, Nicholas Bonner, Anna Grace Bonner and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bonner is preceded in death by his wife, Cordelia "Dellie" Bonner and a son, Mark Rodney Bonner.
Serving as pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2006 at Beulah Baptist Church in West Carroll Parish.
