Obituary of P. Ray Chilton

Funeral services for P. Ray Chilton, 74, of Collinston will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, August, 16, 2009, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home With Rev. Mark Benge officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 16, 2009 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Golden Funeral home. Mr. Chilton was born on April 12, 1935, in Des Arc, MO, and passed away Friday August 14, 2009 in West Monroe, LA. He was a retired Western Union Employee. He is preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Chilton Talley of Watson, AR. Mr.Chilton is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley C. Chilton; four sisters, Juanita Bibb of Farmington, MO, Georgia Caprigliona of St. Louis, MO, Betty Nash and husband Elza of Bismarch, MO, Rose Brewer and husband Harold of Park Hills, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Clarence Fontenot, Kenneth Langston, Robert Kyle, Lynn Langston, Jimmy Fontenot, and Louis Gregory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Collinston Museum or the charity of your choice.
