Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Juanita "Nita" Paulk, 80, of Bastrop, LA, formerly of Houston, TX, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church with Revs. Britt Dupree and Rosemary Stelz officiating. Interment will follow in the Pinegrove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Paulk, a retired bookkeeper, passed away Thurday, August 20, 2009 at the Terrace of Bastrop. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star (Houston, TX).
She is survived by two daughters, Janet Elaine Lambregts and husband Jan of London, England, Jeanne Marie Anders and husband Charles of Bastrop, LA; four sons, James Richard Paulk and wife Pat of Logovista, TX; Jon Allan Paulk and wife Shelley of Houston, TX, Joel Glenn Paulk and wife Brenda of Houston, TX, Jeffrey Dwight Paulk and wife Tena of Sterlington, LA; brother, Thomas Glenn Richard and wife Susan of Livingston, TX; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Paulk is preceded in death by her husband James Paden Paulk and parents, W.G. and Nellie Richard.
Serving as pallbearers are: James Richard Paulk, Jon Allen Paulk, Joel Glenn Paulk, Jeffrey Dwight Paulk and Dennis Wadkins.
