Obituary of Jeanne Dare Larche Myers

Funeral services for Jeanne Dare Larche Myers, age 80, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday May 19, 2006 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Roy B. Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday May 18, 2006 at Goldens from 5-8 p.m. Mrs. Myers, a resident of Bastrop, passed away May 16, 2006 at her residence. She was a retired teacher and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Abram Morehouse Chapter of the DAR. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. & Mrs. L.E. Larche Sr.; sisters, Emma Rose Baker, Tommie Sue Reitzell; brothers, Chaplain L.E. Larche, Jr., Lucian Max Larche; infant son, Kenneth Lee Myers; daughter-in-law, Roxanne Myers; and grandson, Dane Garrett Myers. Mrs. Myers is survived by her husband, Julius Warren Myers, Sr.; two daughters, Jincy Anne Endsley & husband Dennis of Shreveport, LA, Vicky Jeanne Ratcliff & husband T.L. of Lake in the Hills, IL; son, Julius Warren Myers, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA; three grandchildren, Kenneth Luke Myers & fiance April Capochino, Jamie Claire Pugh, Katelin Dare Pugh; sister-in-law, Marce' Barber Larche of Natchitoches, LA; brothers-in-law, Dr. E.D. Baker of Bastrop, Frank Reitzell of Bastrop; & numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Luke Myers, Max Watters, Larche Watters, Grant Watters, Denis Baker and Jim Ogden. The family extends special thanks to Dr. Robert Lyon, Premier Hospice and Auxillary Staff, Barbara Smith, and Bernice Williams,
