Graveside funeral services for Brian G. "Rooster" Armstrong, age 35 and a resident of Bastrop, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2009 at Causey Cemetery with Bro. B.A. Russell officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Brian, an iron worker, passed away Monday, September 28, 2009. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Armstrong and a brother, Allen Gorman.
He is survived by his parents, Frank and Joyce Gorman; sisters, Shannon Moore and husband Cliff of Bastrop, Tara Gorman of Bastrop, Priscilla McDougle and husband Jim Bob of Sterlington, Lisa Kitchens of Darnell; and brothers, Tommy Armstrong of Oak Grove, Mitchell Gorman of Bastrop, Billy Gorman and wife Pat of Downsville, James Gorman and wife Ginger of Vicksburg, MS, and Chris Gorman of Mer Rouge.
