Funeral services for Keith Eldridge Pennington, 40, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, October 12, 2009 at Trinity Assembly of God Church in Bastrop with Rev. John Kimball and Rev. Kendall Reavis officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until 2 PM service time at the church. Mr. Pennington, a Job Placement Specialist and Rehabilitation Technician, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2009 at his residence. He was also member of Trinity Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Jan Pennington of Bastrop, LA; maternal grandmother, Margaret McGough of Daphne, AL; sister, Kristi Reavis and husband Kendall of Madrid, Spain; nieces and nephews, Andrew Reavis, Kees Reavis, Kalli Reavis and Katja Reavis. Mr. Pennington is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lloyd Wilson and Grace Cooper Pennington; maternal grandfather, Lloyd McGough and uncle, Steven Lloyd McGough. Pallbearers will be Michael Smalley, Trent Chambers, Scott Lange, Johnny Stoltz, Robin McGough, Shane McGough, and Steven McGough. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony McGough, Gary Cooper, Tab Wilkerson and Kendall Reavis. The family would like to say a special "Thank You" to True Care Home Health, Premier Hospice, LSU Medical Center, Dr. Clint Netherland and Dr. Linda Bunch. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Matthew 25 Peru Childrens Home c/o Trinity Assembly of God Church at 1908 Cooper Lake Rd., Bastrop, LA 71220.
