Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Huff Jones, age 90, are schedulded for 2 p.m. Friday October, 23, 2009 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Chad Ballard officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jones, a resident of Bastrop passed away Tuesday October 20, 2009 at Morehouse General Hospital. Mrs. Jones was a member of Greenacres Baptist Church and was a retired Dietician at Morehouse General Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents, William T. Huff and Lillie Mae Huff; three brothers; and four sisters.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband of 72 years, Eldridge J. Jones; one daughter, Mary Kathryn Cockrell of Bastrop; two sons, James T. Jones and wife P.J. of Bastrop, Johnny M. Jones and wife Betty of Bastrop; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
