Obituary of Wilbur Dean Parrott

Funeral services for Wilbur Dean Parrott, age 60, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday May 30, 2006 at First Assembly of God with Rev. J.E. Allen and Dr. Ron Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Parrott, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Sunday May 28, 2006 at Morehouse General Hospital. He was a retired employee of the Morehouse Parish School System. Mr. Parrott was also a member of First Assembly of God in Bastrop, where he assisted with the church's van ministry. He is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Helen Parrott. He is survived by two sisters, Dianne Clausing & husband Ron of Bastrop, Wanda Harrison & husband Ronnie of Bastrop; brother, Johnny Parrott of Bowling Green, KY; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Pallbearers will be, Bobby Goodwin, Ricky Parrott, Mike White, Garland Nugent, Johnny Lee Moreland, and Benny Brenner.
