Obituary of C. Glenn Sharbono

Funeral services for Mr. C. Glenn Sharbono, 77, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Dr. Vic Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the Greer Cemetery (Rayville). Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Sharbono, a retired farmer, butcher and security officer, passed away Friday, October 23, 2009 at Morehouse General Hospital. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mr. Sharbono is survived by his daughter, Karen Lanise Sharbono Jenkins and husband James of Sterlington, LA; son, Lynn DeWayne Sharbono of Bastrop, LA; two grandchildren, Kasey Nicole Sullivan Folk and husband Tim of Mt. Vernon, TX, Jesse Daniel Sullivan of Dubach, LA and two great grandchildren, Megan Nicole Driver and Wyatt Matthew Folk both of Mt. Vernon, TX. He is preceded in death by his wife, Norma Janice Sharbono; sisters, Georgia Odesta Sharbono Branch, Clovis Modez Sharbono Hunter and brothers, Conrad Fred Sharbono, Jesse William Sharbono, Jr. and Roy Howard Sharbono. Serving as pallbearers are: Kent Caskey, Lance Norsworthy, Bob Johnson, Johnny Legg, Charles Hayes and Eddie Clingen.
