Mr. Edward Eugene Chappell, Sr., age 78, of Bastrop, LA, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Chappell was a retired Morehouse Parish Farmer. A visitation is scheduled for 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at Golden Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
Mr. Chappell is survived by three daughters, Eugenia Reynolds of Bastrop, LA, Frankie Chappell of Bastrop, LA, Juanita Woods of Haughton, LA; four sons, William Chappell of Farmerville, LA, Melvin Chappell of Bastrop, LA, Jamie Chappell of Bryant, AR, Edward "Curley" Chappell of Crossett, AR; sister, Barbara Defee of Bastrop, LA; fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
He is preceeded in death by his wife, Maedene Chappell; parents, Arthur and Berthea Chappell and two brothers, Kenneth Chappell and Winfred Chappell.
