Mrs. Reynolds, a resident of Bastrop and a nurse, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at her residence. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, mamaw, great-grandmaw, and friend who will be greatly missed. She was nurturing, creative and talented. She remodeled and decorated her houses, painted beautiful pictures, lovingly created quilts, and sewed clothes and toys for her children and grandchildren. She planted flower gardens everywhere. She made the world a more beautiful place. She loved adventure and traveled the world. She and her husband drove from Louisiana to Alaska camping out along the way. A graduate of Kilbourne High School and Ouachita Valley Vocational-Technical School, she was a nurse who loved and cared for her patients. She worked in almost every phase of nursing within the hospital: emergency room, surgery, medical floor, and ob-gyn. In addition, she also worked in nursing homes, Dr.'s offices and in home-health. She was faithful to and loved God and shared her faith with everyone. Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Wesley Reynolds; her parents, Samuel Leroy Massey and Annie Bell Murphy Massey; four brothers, Robby Lee Massey, Hilliard Massey, Harold Dean Massey and Henry Massey; three sisters, Hazel Ruth Massey, Jerry Maxine Massey and Scivil Massey Hart.
