Funeral services for Ms. Cleo Wilson Carter, 90, of Bastrop will be 3 PM Saturday, June 17, 2006 at the Golden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Scott Petrus and Fred Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 16, 2006 from 5 PM to 9 PM at Golden Funeral Home. Ms. Carter, a homemaker, and member of Riverside Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School nearly 20 years, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2006 at Cherry Ridge Guest Care Center. She is preceded in death by her husband, W. H. Carter and by a grandson, Larry Wolfe. Ms. Carter is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Rinehart & husband Baxter of Bastrop; a son, William Carter & wife Lavene of Centerpoint, LA; sister, Charlene Brady of Texas; brothers, Buck Wilson of Baton Rouge, LA, Calvin Wilson & wife Carrie of Longview, TX, Rev. Fred Wilson & wife Evelyn of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Pamela Nelson & husband Floyd, Lloyd Wolfe, William Wolfe & wife B.J.; 10 great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be men of Riverside Baptist Church; Clarence Lowry, Larry Williams, C.R. Lee, Wilton Halterman, Bobby Joe Yates, and Jimmy Bonner.
