Graveside services for Jimmy L. Gregory, 71, of Bastrop, LA, will be at 2 PM Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Lynn Townsend officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 20, 2006 from 5 to 9 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Gregory, a retired brick mason and businessman in Morehouse Parish, passed away Monday, June 19, 2006 at his residence. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter who will be remembered for his contributions to the shooting sports. He loved his family and will be missed by those who knew him.
Mr. Gregory is survived by his wife of 53 years, Frances Gregory; daughters, Leah Fuller & husband Steve of Bastrop, Joni Grady of Columbia, LA, Kimberley Poling & husband Jeff of Delphos, OH; sons, Steve Gregory & wife Wendy of Pensacola, FL, Mark Gregory & wife Patricia of Houston, TX; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Dora Matheny, Ellen Gregory, Mary Matheny, Ada Osborn; brothers, Sam Gregory, Richard Gregory, and Guy Gregory, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Jim Graves, Curtis Stephenson, Guy Gregory, Jr., Jon Gregory, Will Eubanks, and Billy Cross
