Obituary of Emily Elaine Caldwell Brown

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Emily Elaine Caldwell Brown are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Bastrop. Rev. Dale Jordan will officiate the service. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Brown was born January 11, 1941. She was a homemaker and a resident of Bastrop. She passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband, Emery Brown; two sisters, Edith Collins and Lynn Sherrill; one brother, Larry Caldwell; and her parents, Bill and Juanita Caldwell. Mrs. Brown is survived by two daughters, Amanda Patton and husband Cliff of Canyon, TX, Lunar New and husband Joey of Sterlington, LA; three sons, Chuck Brown of Bastrop, LA, Karl Brown and wife T.J. of Justin, TX, Alan Brown and wife Valery of Bastrop, LA; brother, Clayton Caldwell; thirteen grandchildren, Christine Sims and husband Corey, Ryan Chance Patton, Jenifer Finn, Brad New, Sue Ann Woodson, April Walker, Caleb Brown, Paul Landrum, Hunter Brown, Mary Baily, Gabrielle Myers, Summer Brown, Jacob Brown; and six great grandchildren, Christian, Camron, Alex, Zachary, Lilly, and Logan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Morehouse Cancer Society.
