Funeral services for Mrs. Kathleen Sliger, age 81, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bill Schooley officiating. Interment will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park Cemetery, Crossett, AR under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sliger, a homemaker and a resident of Mer Rouge, passed Monday, December 28, 2009 at The Oak Woods in Mer Rouge. Mrs. Sliger was a member of Bawcomeville Church of Christ. Mrs. Sliger was preceded in death by her husband, James C. "Buddy" Sliger, and numerous brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Sliger is survived by one daughter, Brenda Brown of West Monroe; two sons, James H. Sliger and wife Bonnie of Collinston, Chad Sliger and wife Amy of West Monroe; four grandchildren, Josh Brown, Jeremy Brown, Jason Sliger, Amy Ware; and seven great grandchildren.
