Graveside funeral services for Mr. Jesse Floyd White, Sr., 71 of Bastrop are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Carter Cemetery, Collinston Rd. with Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating.
Mr. White, a retired carpenter, truck driver and U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, passed away Monday, July 3, 2006 at his residence.
He is survived by three daughters, Angela Fulmer, Phyllis McNair and Pam Gandy all of Bastrop; two sons, Johnny White of Memphis, TN, Jesse White, Jr. of Bastrop; two sisters, Mary Ann Dean and Sue Robinson both of Bastrop; two brothers David White of Bastrop, Robert White of Tulsa OK; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Mr. White is preceded in death by his parents, Sadie and Larkin White; daughter, Elizabeth Farrar and three brothers, Walter, Jack and Joe White.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Golden Funeral Home.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to offset funeral expenses.
