Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Christine Kendall Crumley, age 89, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Bartholomew Cemetery with Rev. Bobby White officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. until 12 noon at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Crumley, a resident of Oak Grove, formerly of Bastrop, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 at West Carroll Memorial Care Center in Oak Grove, LA. She was a housewife and had a special love for children and babies. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Gladys Valentine Kendall and Ferrell Crumley; and a son, Jimmy Lee Kendall.
Mrs. Crumley is survived by her daughter, Sadie May Barnett of Houston, TX; son, John Thomas Kendall, Sr. & wife Louise of Kilbourne, LA; brother, Virgil White & wife Annie Laura of Bastrop, LA; fifteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to help the family with the funeral expenses.
