Graveside services for Clarence Raymond Harper, Sr., 83, of Monroe, LA formerly of Bastrop, will be held 10 A.M. Friday, July 7, 2006 at Red Wing Cemetery in West Carroll Parish, with the Rev. Jay Simms officiating.
Mr. Harper, a retired employee of International Paper Company, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at the Northeast Louisiana War Veteran's Home in Monroe. He faithfully served his country with the U. S. Navy during WWII, having served two tours of duty and aquiring many medals and accomadations.
Mr. Harper is survived by two sons, John H. Harper of West Monroe, LA, Clarence R. Harper, Jr. & wife Debbie of Bastrop, LA; two granddaughters, Dr. Aubrey Harper Polo & husband Garrett of Covington, LA, Breanna Harper of Monroe, LA; and by a brother, J.T. Harper & wife Zona of Tennessee.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and employees of the Northeast LA War Veteran's Home in Monroe.
