Graveside services for Clarence Lane Murphy, 73, of Bastrop, will be held Monday, July 10, 2006 at 10 AM in Christ Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Jeff May officiating.
Mr. Murphy, a retired business owner of Hoffbraughs House, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2006 at St. Francis North Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Freddie Sue Murphy; parents, Clarence James & Bessie Murphy; and by a sister, Ellen Janette Mestayer.
Mr. Murphy is survived by a daughter, Pam Lambert & husband Stephen of Bastrop, LA; sons, Anthony Lane Murphy of Kirbyville, TX, Fred David Murphy & wife Vicky of Epps, LA; sisters, Peggy Joan Stephens of Bastrop, LA, Rita Stanfill & husband Powell of Bastrop, Alicia Fontenot & husband Rick of Houston, TX, Lucy Mae Sanford & husband Gary of Bastrop, LA; brothers, James M. Murphy & wife Won of Bastrop, John L. Murphy of Bastrop; and three grandchildren.
