Obituary of Jr. Wallace

Funeral services for Mr. Lewis Walter Wallace, Jr., age 68, of Bastrop, La are scheduled for 10 AM Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Dalyn Helbling officiating. Interment will follow in Beekman Cemetery. Mr. Wallace, a retired truck driver and member of First Church of God, passed away Monday, January 25, 2010 at Oak Woods Home for the Elderly. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Margaret Skinner Wallace; three daughters, Cindy Robinson and husband David of Brunswick, GA, Paula Wallace of Bastrop, LA, Jane Cooper and husband Bryan of Bastrop, LA; one brother, Kenneth Wallace and wife Shirley of Bastrop, LA; four grandchildren, Matthew Robinson and wife Kelley of Macon, GA, Jessica Robinson of Macon, GA, Emily Cooper, Savannah Cooper, both of Bastrop, LA and one great granddaughter, Cara Robinson of Macon, GA. Mr. Wallace is preceded in death by his parents, L.W. and Pauline Wallace and a brother, Paul David Wallace. Pallbearers will be; Wandall Coody, Don McIntyre, Ron Elkins, Wayne Goyne, Ronald Hopkins, Ronnie Tubbs and Jimmy Long. Honorary pallbearers will be; Jerry Chesson, Aaron Thompson, Jr. and Bobby Durr. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
