Funeral services for Marcus Alan Kenly, age 17, of Fairbanks, LA are scheduled for 10 AM Friday, January 29, 2010 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Stevenson Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 28, 2010 from 5 PM until 9 PM at the funeral home.
Marcus, a member of Fairbanks Baptist Church, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at St. Francis North Hospital.
He attended Sterlington High School where he was a sophomore. He loved everybody and was very special to his family and friends.
Marcus is survived by his mother, Sandra Kenly of Fairbanks, LA; grandparents, Willard and Grace Kenly of Fairbanks, LA; sister, Kelly Dick of Cotton Valley, LA; two brothers, Jerry Kenly of Monroe, LA, Scott Kenly of Fairbanks, LA; three nephews and one niece.
Pallbearers will be; Jason Bennett, Adam Kenly, Bubba Kenly, Zach Kenly, J.J. Martin, Chad Silk and Randy Kenly, Jr.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Rick Bowen and Louis Green.
The family extends a special thanks to all who helped through his illness.
