Obituary of Margaret Sedberry Braswell

A memorial service for Mrs. Margaret Sedberry Braswell, age 88, of Bastrop, LA is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. James Moffett officiating. Mrs. Braswell, a retired hairdresser and member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Morehouse General Hospital. According to her wishes, her body was donated to LSU to be used for medical research. She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Lynnette Smith and husband Lavelle of Chatham, LA; son, Thomas Dwaine Braswell, Jr. of Bastrop, LA; sister, Sallie Hartjoy of Ada, OK; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; three sisters in-law, Bessie Burnett of Bastrop, LA, Shirley Burge and husband Ed of Bastrop, LA, Edith Braswell of Crossett, AR and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Braswell is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Dwaine Braswell, Sr., parents, Alvin and Ida Mae Sedberry and a sister, Jamie Clark. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church.
