Funeral service for Mr. Otis Eugene Bray ,79, of Sterlington, LA formerly of Bastrop is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2006 at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Bray, a retiree from International Paper Company and a member of Faith Baptist Church, passed away Friday, August 4, 2006. He also served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his daughter, LaRon Waller of Sterlington, LA; a grandson, Darren Bray Cooper and his wife Kate; a great granddaughter, Braylee Kate Cooper; two sisters, Onella Childers and Betty Mitchell, both of Arkansas.
Mr. Bray is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Nell Bray; his parents, Eulah and Newt Bray; three brothers, Jack, L.B., and Kenneth Bray.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Stevenson, Shane Trichell, Joe Evans, Rick Grimmett, Keith McKoin and Doug Rainbolt.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 5, 2006 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
