Obituary of Beatrice Doles

Mrs. Beatrice Lewis Doles died Sunday, August 6, 2006 at St. Francis Medical Center following a brief illness. Funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday, August 8, at New Hope Baptist Church in Jones, LA with Revs. Gary Traylor and Larry Linson officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 - 9 PM Monday, August 7, 2006 at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Doles was a lifelong homemaker, devoted mother and an active member of New Hope Baptist Church since 1946. Mrs Doles served as an officer and director of the WMU and Morehouse Parish Homemakers Club for many years. Survivors include three sons, Mike Doles & wife Nancy of Jones, LA, Don Doles & wife Barbara of Jones, LA, Jimmy Doles & wife Denise of Bastrop, LA; a daughter, Debbie Boone & husband Ronald of Jones, LA; a sister, Odell Ingram of Jones, LA; a brother, John Lewis of Nashville, TN; ten grandchildren, Frank Boone, Nicholas Boone, Adrienne Boone, Jennifer Doles Files, Jason Doles, Garrett Doles, Hannah Doles, Buffy Goodson Riles, John Michael Goodson, and Jamie Everett; and nine great grandchildren, Megan Crymes, Amanda Goodson, Austin Goodson, Avery Grace Files, Noah Files, Jessica Hannah, Christian Hannah, Trey Riles, and McKenzee Riles; and by her caregiver and special friend, Deana Hawthorne. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fort Doles. Pallbearers will be her grandsons; Frank Boone, Nicholas Boone, Jason Doles, Garrett Doles, John Michael Goodson, and John Files.
