Funeal services for Mr. Bobby Ray Barr, 79, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, March 29, 2010 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery.
Mr. Barr, a member of Greenacres Baptist Church, which he dearly loved and an avid domino player, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Lagniappe Health Care.
He is survived by three sisters; Bonnie Breithaupt and husband Robert of Sterlington, LA, Betty Hawkins and Nadine Wilson, both of Bastrop, LA and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Mr. Barr is preceded in death by his parents, Grover Holyfield and Wilma Irene Ashley Barr.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 28, 2010 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers are Brandon Byrd, Cory Hawkins, Chris Hawkins, John Charles Sampognaro, Gabriel Sampognaro, and Clint Haddock
