Funeral services for Mr. Nathan Don Morris, age 63, of Bastrop, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sunday August 27, 2006 at the Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Art Crymes and Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in the Bonita Road Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Morris, a retired employee of 41 years with International Paper Company, passed away Thursday August 24, 2006 at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg, MS.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sharon Boyd Morris; two daughters, Dana Morris Crymes and husband William of Bastrop, LA, Karen Morris Patrick and husband David Patrick,Jr. of Bastrop, LA; special nephew (son), Jarred Kirk of Baton Rouge, LA; sister, Cheryl Reynolds and husband Ralph of Bastrop, LA; five grandchildren, Reagan Patrick, Megan Crymes, Katelyn Crymes, Elizabeth Claire Crymes and Ambi Platt.
Mr. Morris is preceded in death by his parents, Adam Thomas Morris and Norma Lee Morris Warton.
Serving as pallbearers are: J.L. Case, Ranny Reynolds, Darryl Reynolds, Don Posey, James Meadows, David Slack and Victor Harris.
Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 5-8 p.m. at Goldens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Morehouse Parish Library Fund.
