Graveside funeral services for Charles B. Hobson, Sr., age 74, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday August 26, 2006 at Hughes Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Lloyd Townsend and Rev. Louis Redden officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday at Golden Funeral Home from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Mr. Hobson, a resident of Hughes Chapel Community, passed away Wednesday August 23, 2006. He was a retired Bastrop Daily Enterprise carrier and had attended Hughes Chapel Methodist Church for 15 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Mallie Hobson; brother, Travis Hobson; and granddaughter, Felicia Bailey.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Hobson; two daughters, Deborah Axson & husband Charles of Carthage, AR, Linda Flemmons & husband Eddie of McGhee, AR; four sons, Stan Hobson & wife Leisa of Carthage, AR, Charles B. Hobson, Jr. & wife Tawana of White Hall, AR, Eddie Hobson & wife Vicki of Carthage, AR, Wayne Hobson of Foley, AL; two step-sons, Terry Bailey & wife Linda of England, AR, Paul Allen Bailey & wife Cathy of Wright, AR; two sisters, Marie Heritage of Texas, Laverne Terry of Yellville, AR; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
