Memorial Service for Mrs. Rachel M. Taliaferro, 80, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2006 at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating.
Mrs. Taliaferro, a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2006 at St. Francis North Hospital.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Baker and her husband Mike of Bastrop, LA, Anita Myers and her husband "Pick" of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Kevin Baker and his wife Dana of Houston, TX, Carlton Brodnax and his wife Misty of Swartz, LA, Bentley Brodnax of Monroe, LA, Dustin Brodnax and his wife Jessica of Bastrop, LA; great grandchildren, Ethan Chunn, Tanner Gerald and Kollin Michael Baker; several sisters and brothers; special friends, George and Sue Smith, Margaret Ferrara and Beatrice Battle.
Mrs. Taliaferro is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Mr. Jack Taliaferro.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 27, 2006 from 3 p.m. until service time at Golden Funeral Home.
