Obituary of Lester Morgan Paul

Funeral services for Mr. Lester Morgan Paul, age 46, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2010, at First United Pentecostal Church with Rev. A.J. Fulton and Rev. Dwight Fulton officiating. Interment will follow in Kilbourne Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday at the church. Mr. Paul, a resident of Bastrop and owner/operator of Blue Water Pool Service, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010. Mr. Paul was a member of First United Pentecostal Church. He loved to fish, hunt and cook. Mr. Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Miller Paul; and a brother, Wayne Paul. Mr. Paul is survived by his wife Angela Gail Paul; father, Lester Paul of Alexandria, LA; mother and father-in-law, Betty Stephens and husband James of Bastrop, LA; one son, Lester Paul, Jr. of Alexandria, LA; two step-sons, Brian Smith, Derrick Smith, both of Bastrop, LA; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Treadway and husband John of Pineville, LA; three brothers, Michael Scott Paul and wife Shelly of Alexandria, LA, Steven Wayne Paul of Pineville, LA, David Keith Paul and wife Rebecca of Deville, LA; brother-in-law, David Lee Pool, Jr. of Bastrop, LA; and two step-grandchildren, Jasmine Jones and Brianna Smith. Pallbearers will be Jobie Tharpe, Brandon Layton, Bill Tharpe, Daniel Odom, David Pool, and James Johnson. Honorary pallbearer will be Gavin Carlino.
