Graveside funeral services for Mr. Rey Gonzalez, age 51, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Dry Bayou Cemetery in Wilmot, AR, with Newton Smith officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Gonzalez, a consultant engineer and resident of Mer Rouge, LA, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Risinger Gonzalez; step-daughter, Sheri Birdsall and husband Van of Waskom, TX; two step-sons, Stevie Jones and wife Ashley of Bastrop, LA, Mikey Jones of Bastrop, LA; four sisters, Ginia Crane of Phoenix, AZ, Emma Dunlap and husband James of Lexington, OK, Dora Passmore of Moore, OK, Alberta Roach and husband Bill of Amarillo, TX; four brothers, Junior Gonzalez and wife Gloria of Fayetteville, AR, Manuel Gonzalez and wife Lynn of Oklahoma City, OK, David Gonzalez and wife Ruth of San Leandro, CA, Freddy Gonzalez of Yukon, OK; five grandchildren, Nikki Birdsall, Chelsea Birdsall, Peyton Jones, Robby Jones, Amanda Jones; and one great grandchild, Aiden Humphrey.
