Obituary of Minnie O. Sims

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Minnie O. Sims, 97, of Bonita, LA are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Bonne Idee Cemetery with Rev. Charlie Parks officiating under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Sims, a member of the Baptist faith, passed away Friday, April 23, 2010 at Morehouse General Hospital. She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Risinger and husband Doug, Debra Sanders, and Peggy Coleman and husband Faye, all of Bastrop, LA; 2 sons, Milton O. Sims and wife Virginia of Bastrop, LA, Cecil E. Sims and wife Elaine of Bonita, LA; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Mrs. Sims is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil M. Sims; son, C. W. Sims; daughters, Shirley Sims Holland and Sue Johnston; three brothers and one sister.
