Graveside funeral services for Donald Wayne "Donnie" Bennett, age 30, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2010 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Donnie, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Bennett Burge of Bastrop, LA; grandmother, Annie May Caffery of Bastrop, LA; brothers, Vernon Harris of Camdenton, MO, Eric Harris of Missouri, Danny Bennett of Bastrop, LA; adopted brother, Andy Yarbrough, Jr. of Monroe, LA; god-sister, Renee Fulmer of Bastrop, LA; many cousins, aunts, and uncles; several special friends he called his brothers; and many other friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ronald Gunter, Eddie Vasquese, Jeremy Myrick, Andy Yarbrough, Lynn Deal, Gary Robinson, and Robbie Jackson. Honorary pallbearer will be Tina Deal.
