Obituary of Louella Bonner Sasser

Funeral services for Mrs. Louella Bonner Sasser, age 84, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Goodwill Church of God with Rev. David Radford and Rev. Jason Strong officiating. Interment will follow in Redwing Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 1 -9 p.m. at the church. Mrs. Sasser, a resident of Oak Grove, LA, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010. She was a retired employee of Allen Canning Company and a member of Goodwill Church of God. She is survived by her husband, Dallas Sasser, whom she wed May 26, 1946; daughter, Edna Stover and husband Delton of Oak Grove, LA; son, Donald Sasser and wife Beth of Oak Grove, LA; sister, LV Roberts and husband Gene of Bastrop, LA; five grandchildren, Randy Stover and wife Tammy of Shreveport, LA, Robert Stover and wife Susan of Oak Grove, LA, Candy Neathery and husband Patrick of Start, LA, Dewanna Sasser of Murfreesboro, TN, Sherri Sasser of Start, LA; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Turner, David Harris, Douglas "Coon" Strong, Woody Tyson, Howard Berg, and Larry McCullough. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Bonner, Floyd "Junior" Bonner, Daniel Stover, Boyd Stover, Cody Stover, and Tyler Neathery.
