Obituary of M. H. Fontenot

M.H. Fontenot, age 69, of Cave City, AR, fomerly of Riverside, CA and also of Oak Ridge, LA, died Thursday September 28, 2006 at his home. He was born February 21, 1937 at Collinston, LA to Clarence Walter and Blanche Iota (Warton) Fontenot. He was a veteran, retired from the U.S. Navy and Civil Service and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his fiance Barbara R. Purvis of Cave City, AR; one brother, Walter H. Fontenot of Oak Ridge, LA; two sisters, Merlean Crye of Mer Rouge, LA and Margie Hembree of West Monroe, LA; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday October 1, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday October 2, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. James Moffett officiating. Burial will follow in Carter Cemetery.
