Obituary of Jewel Musgrove

Funeral services for Jewel Ethel Musgrove, 74, of Bastrop, La. are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2004 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Elder Theron Jones and Bro. Butch Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in the Musgrove cemetery located on the Hamburg Rd. Mrs. Musgrove was born July 5, 1930 in Alto, La. and passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at North Monroe Hospital. She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Martha Goodman and huband Butch, Bobbie Lane and husband James, Debbie Bryant and husband Clifton, Ginger Jackson and husband Ricky; son, Thomas "Brother" Musgrove and wife Laura; fifteen grandchildren and thier spouses, Tobey and Rodger Coody, Kasey Duncan, Kelley and Chad Frankowicz, Gary Jr. and Susan Kinney, Jason and Allison Kinney, Kristen and Paul Sistrunk, Keri Bryant, Toby Bryant, Melanie Bryant, Kristi Musgrove, Ricky Jackson, Jr., Jessica Jackson, Tessa Tomblin, Caleb Jackson and Tiffany Tomblin; twelve great grandchildren, Zoe', Addie Bell and Mac Coody, Alix Duncan, Luke Frankowicz, Emilee and Adam Kinney, Haley and Kyly Kinney, Gage and Paige Sistrunk and Ally Lowery; sisters in-law, Azeal Musgrove and Geneva Pettis; brother in law, Jake Musgrove and numerous nieces, nephews and several very special friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Musgrove, Sr.; parents, Leatha Thompson Boyd and Irvin Thompson; sister, Mae Musgrove and two brothers, Earl and Walter Thompson. Serving as pallbearers will be: Gary Kinney,Jr.,Jason Kinney, Chuck Lord, Kenny Musgrove, Donald Harrell and "Lil" Ricky Jackson, Jr. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 23, 2004 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
