Obituary of Boyd Crenshaw

Funeral services for Mr. Boyd Crenshaw, age 66, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday October 6, 2006 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Carter Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 8 a.m. until service time at Goldens.
Mr. Crenshaw passed away October 4, 2006 at Morehouse General Hospital. He was a resident of Bastrop and employed as a roofing contractor. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey & Paralee Crenshaw.
He is survived by two daughters, Kayla Crenshaw & Renee Crenshaw; two sons, Hayward Crenshaw & Boyd DeWayne Crenshaw, all of Bastrop; five sisters, Patricia Wells of Monroe, Emmie Kinnaird of Hamburg, AR, Shirlean Pruitt of Bastrop, Marion Barthol of Jones, Katherine Basso of South Carolina; three brothers, Joe Crenshaw of Bastrop, Robert Crenshaw of Little Rock, AR, Henry Ferrell of Bastrop; several grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a very special friend in his life, Kathy Harrell of Bastrop.
Serving as pallbearers will be I.V. Barthol, Lee Ivan Barthol, Gerald Robert Barthol, Phillip Hall, Tommy Robert Crenshaw, and Jerry Harrell. Honorary pallbearer will be P.L. Robinson.
