Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Leachman Holland, 86, of Bastrop are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, June 21, 2010 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Mr. Waymon Swain officiating. Interment will follow in Douglas Cemetery in Douglas, LA at 4:30 PM.
Mrs. Holland, a homemaker and member of Central Church of Christ, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2010 at the LeGrand. She loved growing daylilies and raising and selling puppies.
She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Leachman Johnson and husband Rodney M. of Ruston, LA; a son, Larry Leachman and wife Faye of Mer Rouge, LA; two sisters, Bunnie Keene of Bastrop, LA, Shirley Higgins of Texas; two grandchildren, Terri McKiggin and husband Mike of Texas, Richard Leachman of New Mexico; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Holland is preceded in death by husbands, Sherman "Cotton" Leachman and Troy Holland.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 20, 2010 from 3 PM until 5 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
