Funeral services for Mrs. Roslea Kennedy, 75, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 10 AM Monday, June 21, 2010 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Revs. Joey Kennedy and Jeff Dunlap officiating. Interment will follow in Boyd-Hedge Cemetery, Ashley Co., AR.
Mrs. Kennedy, a homemaker and member of New Life Church of God, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010 at St. Francis Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband, E.L. Kennedy; parents, Dewey and Lilly Hedge; sisters, Kate Hedge, Hazel Hedge, Virginia Jones and brothers, J.T. Hedge and William Hedge.
Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her daughters, Margaret Moore and Janet McDonald, both of Bastrop, LA; sons, George Kennedy of Bastrop, LA and Victor Kennedy, Sr. of Fairbanks, LA; grandchildren, Lorrie Edwards, Angela Hemphill, Melanie Middlebrooks, Jackie Kennedy, Joey Kennedy, Adam Moore, Rebecca Moore, Victor Kennedy, Jr., Jimelle Cook, Kevin Kennedy and eighteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be; Adam Moore, Jackie Kennedy, Kirkland Middlebrooks, Kennedy Edwards, Derrick Middlebrooks and Shane Cook.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 20, 2010 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
