Obituary of Donny Ray Lynn

Funeral services for Mr. Donny Ray Lynn, age 61, are scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2010 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in Beekman Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Lynn, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Glenwood Medical Center. He was a retired employee of International Paper Company and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
Mr. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Hazel Lynn and three brothers, Danny Lynn, Curtis Lynn, and Walter Lynn.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Lynn; two children, Melissa Lynn VanCoevering and husband Paul of Bastrop, Donnie Lynn, Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Choudrant; grandchildren, Taylor VanCoevering, Jake VanCoevering, Valerie Chatellier, and soon to arrive Andy Lynn; and honorary father, Earl Brown of Bastrop.
Serving as pallbearers will be Andy Wilson, Doug Riles, Mike Gilley, George Delamar, Jim Meadors, and Calvin Lambert. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Charles Franklin.
