Obituary of Clara Bell Flanagan

Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Bell Flanagan, age 87, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby O'Fallon officiating. Interment will follow in Bonita Road Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Flanagan, a homemaker and resident of Bastrop, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Allie Sims; husband, I.T. Flanagan; sister, Margie Levy; brother, Daniel Sims; grandsons, Scottie McLarrin, Jacob Flanagan; and great granddaughter, Marlee Clement. She is survived by seven children, Diane Keop and husband Don of Longmont, CO, Linda Navarro and husband Cheyenne of Madison, TN, Danny Flanagan and wife Debbie of Bastrop, LA, Mary McLarrin and husband Kenneth of Bastrop, Davlyn Heath and husband Henry of Bastrop, LA, Joe Wayne Flanagan and wife Sheila of Bastrop, Sharon Harris and husband Kirt of Bastrop, LA; sister, Irene Carter of Amory, MS; brother, Jackie Sims of West Monroe, LA; twenty-three grandchildren; forty great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Henry Heath, Jr., Christian Lee Harris, Chris Clement, Ryan McLarrin, Chandler Woodard, and Daniel Fletcher.
