Mary and Jeff, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this tragic time. There are no words that can even come close to comforting you but I know that God can. Only God can comfort you and if you will lean on him he will give you peace. Times like these we wonder why and sometimes we never know but God who is in control of all things does and all things that are bad, God will turn good from it. Nothing good we say can come from this but God's word promises it and we may never see it ourselves. I believe you have already seen the good, his life, that you were able to share with him, and the memories you have of him. Hold on to those memories and remember that you will see him again someday.
