Funeral services for Mrs. Jimmie L. Coleman, age 73, of Bastrop are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Cascio officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Coleman, a homemaker and member of Praiseland Church, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Wayne "Chubby" Coleman; daughters, Shelia Dykes, Sherry Ramshur and husband Ronnie, Sarah Stewart, Susan Sharman, all of Bastrop, and Shannon Marsh of Phoenix, AZ; son, Gary L. Williamson and wife Janice of Hamburg, AR; sisters, Elaine Cascio and husband Rev. Carl of Bastrop, Linda Roan and Patricia Rowe and husband Wayne, both of Monroe, LA; brother, Tommy Roan of MS; fifteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Coleman is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Elma Roan; sisters, Barbara Hilton, Wanda Ryder, Vonell Phillips; brothers, James Leavell Roan and Cecil Roan.
Grandsons Damon Wade, Eric Trichel, Mat Dykes, David A. Farrar, Seth Stephens, and Bo Ramshur will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 5 PM until 9 PM at the funeral home.
