Funeral services for Mr. Dan Norsworthy are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday October 19, 2006 at Central Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Britt Dupree officiating. Interment will follow in Beekman Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Norsworthy, age 74, passed away Monday October 16, 2006 at St. Francis North Medical Center. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and a resident of Bastrop.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Norsworthy; son, Robert Lee Norsworthy & wife Cynthia of Arkansas; two granddaughters, Mylinda Norsworthy and Alexis Norsworthy; three grandsons, Christopher Hays, Kagan Berry, Ryan Faulkenbury; three brothers, Howard Norsworthy of Bastrop, Max Norsworthy of Bastrop, Jim Norsworthy of Felsenthal, AR; sister, Melba Owens of Millington, TN; and numerous nieces & nephews.
