Funeral services for Mary LaDelle Matheny, 95, of Marshall, TX formerly of Bastrop,LA are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday November 11, 2006 at Central Church of Christ with Joe Nichols and Waymon Swain officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Matheny, a homemaker and member of the Eastern Hills Church of Christ in Marshall, TX, passed away Wednesday November 8, 2006 at Marshall Manor Nursing Home in Marshall, TX.
She is survived by two daughters, Rosemary Dawson and husband Bill of College Station, TX, Sylvia Ostrander and husband Art of Marshall, TX; brother, Van Morgan of Bastrop, LA; four grandchildren, Daniel Dawson, Mary Gross, Rachel Dodson, Christian Ostrander; nine great grandchildren, Samuel Dawson, Eli Dawson, Seth Gross, Ian Gross, Adam Gross, Morgan Dodson, Macy Dodson, Caitlin Ostrander and Allie Ostrander.
Mrs. Matheny is preceded in death by her husband, Selby Matheny; brothers, Ray Morgan and Ralph Morgan.
Serving as pallbearers will be Art Ostrander, Bill Dawson, Daniel Dawson, Christian Ostrander, Clint Dodson and Larry Morgan.
Visitation will be Friday November 10, 2006 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to: Hospice of East Texas in Tyler Tx or to the charity of your choice.
