Funeral services for Joe O. Scarborough, 83, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 10 AM Monday, November 13, 2006 at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Moffett officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery at Linville, LA under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 12, 2006 from 5 - 9 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Scarborough passed away Thursday, November 9, 2006 at his residence and was retired from International Paper Company.
He is survived by a daughter, Peggy Neal & husband James of Bastrop, LA; a son, Billy Scarborough & wife Jennifer of Bastrop, LA; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: David Poole, Brent Gregory, Tim Pettis, Jerry Sears, Shane Boyte, and Qasoran Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Haskell Spigner and Orville Noble.
