Funeral services for Mrs. Suey Fong Pang, age 78, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Philip Farris and Rev. Gil Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. A graveside service with interment will follow at 1 p.m. Friday in the Chinese Cemetery in Greenville, MS. Mrs. Pang, a retired, and very hard working self-proprietary business woman operated a retail grocery business in Greenville. She passed away Monday, October 25, 2010, after a lengthy illness. She was a dedicated and loving wife, married July 12, 1953, to Fook Chong Pang and loving mother of three adult children. She lived in Greenville, MS for 44 years before retiring and moving to Bastrop, LA in 1997. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Fook Chong Pang; daughter, Joyce Priest and husband Barry of Bastrop, LA; sons, Danny Pang of Starkville, MS and Randy Pang of Bastrop, LA; sister, Sue Gee of New York City, NY; brother, William Mar and wife Nancy of Greenville, MS; nieces, Judy Fan and husband Rod of Fremont, CA, Donna Falcone of New York City, NY, and Diana Wu and husband Albert of New York City, NY; and two step-grandchildren, Brandon Priest and Carrie Meers. Mrs. Pang is preceded in death by her parents, Mar Dong Shee and Mar Gon Lun of Greenville, MS originally from China, brother-in-law, John Gee, and nephew, Junior Gee both of New York City, NY. Serving as pallbearers will be: Troy Green, Steve Ross, Doug Brewster, Jeff Meers, Richard Gardner, and Kelly May. Honorary pallbearers are: Jim Wilson, Jim Harrell, Mitch Jordan, and Ock Wong.
