Obituary of Calvin Al Lovell II

Funeral services for Mr. Calvin Al Lovell II, 59, of Bastrop, La. are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2006 at the Memorial Methodist Church with Revs. William Fowler and Bo Horne officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Lovell, a corrections officer for the Morehouse Parish Sheriff's Office and member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Morehouse General Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Lovell; two daughters, Jennifer Collins and husband Don of Jones, LA, Mary Elizabeth Lovell and fiance` Jeremie Middlebrooks of Bastrop, LA; granddaughter, Emmalei` Shayanne Collins of Jones,LA and a brother, John Edward Lovell of Bastrop, LA.
Mr. Lovell is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Essie Lovell.
Serving as pallbearers are: Thomas Lord, Jessie Brown, Thomas Ratcliff, Lawrence Robinson, Buford Benson and Danny McGrew.
Honorary pallbearers are fellow employees: Robert Sloan, Gary Newman, Clemont Brown, Frank Day and Darlene James.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday at Golden Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
