Obituary of Vicki Lynn Bennett

Ms. Vicki Lynn Bennett, age 59, of Bastrop, formerly of Denham Springs, LA, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. Ms. Bennett, a homemaker and member of Bethel Baptist Church, was a very giving person. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and will be remembered for her wonderful recipes and love of cooking. She is survived by her parents, Robert Keith and Thelma Rice of Denham Springs, LA; daughter, Alison Bennett of Beaver Dam, WI; sons, Robert Bennett and wife Denise of Walker, LA, Wesley Bennett and wife Ashlee of Bastrop, LA; sisters, Loretta Miles and husband Ronnie of Lake Jackson, TX, Robbie Craig and husband Don of Watson, LA, Toni Bennett of Denham Springs, LA; grandchildren, Christian Bennett, Joshua Bennett, Marissa Bennett,Kevin Bennett and Joe Wade Bennett. Ms. Bennett is preceded in death by brother, Gerald Rice and her grandparents. A memorial service for Ms. Bennett will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery for immediate family and friends.
