Obituary of Elizabeth Faye Elkins

Elizabeth Faye Musgrove Elkins, age 64, died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at her home in Bastrop. Mrs. Elkins know to her friends and family as "Lollie" will be remembered as a loving, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She graduated from Bastrop High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Hillview Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 13 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, November 14 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Rev. Morris "Butch" Goodman will officiate. Interment will be at Concord Musgrove Cemetery. Mrs. Elkins is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mae Musgrove; in laws, Richard and Retha Pennington; sister, Roxanne Barton; sister in law, Velda Moore Musgrove and great nephew, Trapper Adkins. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Larry Elkins of Bastrop; two sons, Jerry Wayne Elkins and wife Sandy of Bastrop, Bobby Ray Elkins and wife Leslie of Bastrop; six grandchildren, Stephen Elkins, Chris Laing, Joshua Elkins, Patrick Elkins, Jacob Elkins, and Gabrielle Elkins all of Bastrop; brother, George "Sam" Musgrove, Jr. of Bastrop; sister, Joyce Dupree and husband Shorty of Ville Platte, LA; sister, Catherine Harrell and husband Lloyd of Bastrop; brother, Jerry Musgrove and wife Ginger of Collinston; brother, Bobby Joe Musgrove of Bastrop; brother, Johnny Musgrove and wife Freda of Bastop; brother, Larry Musgrove and wife Elva of Bastrop; brother and sister in law, Gary and Gloria Elkins of Bastrop and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Serving as pallbearers are: David Harrell, Donald Harrell, Thomas Musgrove, Kenny Musgrove, Gary Kenny, Coby Lynn and honorary pallbearers will be Joey Musgrove and Justin Musgrove.
